Dent May – That Feeling

That Feeling If you haven’t heard of Dent May, I wouldn’t blame you.  He’s a musician from Mississippi who was popularized by his use of ukelele.  It seems as though he’s put it down and made a summer synth heatwave cooling kind of song.  It’s got the right vibe for a warm summer night, and is extremely catchy. The track comes from his upcoming release, and is free to download. http://dentmay.com/

Maps & Atlases – Perch Patchwork

Banished Be Cavalier Maps & Atlases gave us Solid Ground, the first track off their upcoming(at the time) album Perch Patchwork.  I received it in April, and I really enjoyed it.  I was curious what else would come, if this were a template for the rest of the music they’d include on the album.  When I got Perch Patchwork, I instantly fell in love with it.  The key & tempo changes, it was like a progressive folk, with dabs of psychedelia.  I think at first these guys were put into a Math or Art Rock kind of category that was just…
