The track is called “Enzymes” and is being released on Green Label Sound. After his breakout in 2009, throwback soul singer Mayer Hawthorne is on a national tour with backing band The County, and headed our way. Mayer’s sound is an authentic brand of neo-soul that proves his Motown background, which is exemplified in his popular debut A Strange Arrangement, which quickly became one of my favorite albums of the last two years.
