The new album from That Ghost, Songs Out Here, released this week. This is the first I’m hearing single, To Like You and I’m kind of loving it. I am really digging the retro, lo-fi, reverby sound. To catch you and me up to speed, That Ghost is the project of 21-year-old frontman Ryan Thomas Schmale. The northern California native holes himself up in his bedroom with a few guitars and a recording box. The result is a poignant lofi recording that sounds extremely personal and very likable.
