Blake Mills – Hey Lover :: Invisible Children Holiday Benefit Concert from INVISIBLE CHILDREN on Vimeo. Just caught this off of a post from Rollo Grady, it’s Blake Mills performing live with Taylor and Griffin of Dawes, at the Troubadour for the 2010 Invisible Children Holiday Benefit Concert. Being on the east coast, we’ve yet to see Blake Mills live and I’m totally drooling over this video. It’s awesome to see him play the guitar and I’m loving the slow jam aspect to this track. On the album version it had been a bit faster and heavier. I urge you, yet…

Check out the Dodos’ video for Black Night off their recently released album ‘No Color’ which I reviewed a couple of weeks ago. I’ve enjoyed this album and I am eagerly hoping they come to the East Coast (maybe?)

Check out the new track from the Antlers, Parentheses. This one as with a lot of the Antlers’ music is difficult to describe. This has got a more rattly sound that what we heard on Hospice, but their ‘slowcore’ styling and choir like vocals are entrancing. Its a great sounding song, and makes my mouth water at another album of it. Pre-order Burst Apart before it comes out on May 10th.
