Manchester-based artist Butcher The Bar (aka Joel Nicholson) just announced his first new material in three years in the form of sophomore LP, For Each A Future Tethered, set for release via Morr Music on June 21.
Echoing the earnest songwriting of and vocal stylings of Nick Drake and Elliot Smith Butcher The Bar’s ‘Bobby‘ is a warm sounding indie folk song with that quiet whisper vocal that creates a sort of intimacy that is totally entrancing.
