Check out the Dodos’ video for Black Night off their recently released album ‘No Color’ which I reviewed a couple of weeks ago. I’ve enjoyed this album and I am eagerly hoping they come to the East Coast (maybe?)

Check out the new track from the Antlers, Parentheses. This one as with a lot of the Antlers’ music is difficult to describe. This has got a more rattly sound that what we heard on Hospice, but their ‘slowcore’ styling and choir like vocals are entrancing. Its a great sounding song, and makes my mouth water at another album of it. Pre-order Burst Apart before it comes out on May 10th.

Leave a CommentBare Wires premiere “Ready To Go” on Altered Zones, a Two and Half Minute romp through 70’s High School parking lot rock. They’ve got a new LP Coming Soon, and are touring extensively throughout North America. Ready to go is a B-Side that certainly doesn’t sound like it should be; it comes off a new 7″ single they are selling here.

They’ll be taking their lofi garage sound all over in support of their 2010 album ‘Seeking Love’ which is available here
Tour Dates:
The Felice Brothers recently released first track off their new LP ‘Celebration, Florida‘ entitled ‘Ponzi‘. The album will arrive May 10th & the band will be touring this album throughout the summer with Shovels & Rope. Ponzi has a little bit of a different sound from the normal Felice Brothers fare. The sound is a little more full from the normal stripped down nature of their music. Its got a choir background harmony, a smooth bassline, and a very epically big electronic finish (tough to explain…just listen). http://www.thefelicebrothers.com/

Junip – In Every Direction (Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. Remix) by Mute Artists
Junip recently released a new EP (In Every Direction) that included 3 remixes of In Every Direction, above the remix is by indie band Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., and 3 unreleased b sides ( one of which was posted here).
The band will also be touring like crazy, so be sure and get out and see these guys play, they are absolutely awesome to see live and well worth the cost of admission.
