In a sea of shimmering folk music with the likes of Fleet Foxes, Band of Horses, MMJ or John Vanderslice, Yarn Owl a PNW band, glimmers and shines much like these predecessors. Yarn Owl has released a beautiful sounding album in ‘Montaña y Caballo’. Their jangly guitars and ethereal vocals create an intimate and very lush sound that will have fans coming back to again and again. Definitely worth the $5 tag they are putting on the album.
