Cincinnati’s Buffalo Killers are a blues rock band signed to Alive Records. Their midwestern roots and blues rock sound landed them a tour with the Black Crowes, and a record produced by Ohio’s Dan Auerbach. The band, comprising of brothers Zachary and Andrew Gabbard with Joseph Sebaali make some great sounding rock & roll music; a bit twangy, a bit bluesy and completely catchy. I can understand Chris Robinson connecting to their music, its got a similar sound to the Crowes, but a bit more rough and wild sounding. Check out their first cut from their self-produced album “3” out August 2nd (available on CD, Digital and Colored Vinyl in both blue and purple – limited to just 500 copies each color).
Their summer tour of The States kicks-off June 15th in Dayton, with dates across the pond to follow.
