The Dirty Lungs – Don’t Fucking Remind Me
Lo Fi garage rock revivalists The Dirty Lungs play their version 1960s garage-rock scene in their featured single “Don’t Fucking Remind Me.” Its a little bit surf, a little bit garage, its a lot of dirt. The lo fi feel on this single doesn’t seem pretentious, it gives an authentic feel with its chamber vocals an simplistic recording. They sent me a message a long time ago; and I really should not have waited this long to bring it forth. The song has been searing in my head for the last couple days; and I think a lot of people are going to enjoy this.
Now, in 2011, Dirty Lungs are currently prepping another single release in the fall of 2011 with tracks “You Should Get to Know Me” and “Walk the Streets” as A and B sides respectively, they also plan on recording a sophomore full length for the beginning of 2012.
