Jeremy Messersmith – Blue Sky Check out Jeremy Messersmith’s Blue Sky, an homage to everything going on at the Occupy Wall Street protests. The acoustic driven song sounds every bit like Paul Simon. Messersmith as always does a fantastic job painting an elegant picture with his lyrical eloquence and sentimental delivery. Really enjoying this one.

His voice is reminiscent of Otis Redding & Bill Withers, his music a little Dylan, and a little Nick Drake. He was supposed to be midway through his tour opening for Adele, but as everyone knows, the tour was canceled. The vocals are expansive and soaring, the sounds are vastly textural, and huge. Everything, I mean everything, is just a bit larger on this album.
