Austin/Brooklyn-ite, Leslie Sisson, is the lead female vocalist and guitarist in The Wooden Birds. Leslie’s voice is something to behold, its quite striking, but can be subdued and relaxed without losing any impact. Recently she recorded her debut solo record, Harmony. This is the first cut I’ve heard from the album, and I’m really enjoying it.
