Harriet – I Slept With All Your Mothers
Glad to see Alex Casnoff (ex-member of Dawes) has landed somewhere. His new band, Harriet, is embarking on the self-release of their debut EP, Tell The Right Story, on January 31, 2012. The first single being “I Slept With All Your Mothers,” which has whispers of Dawes influence (check out the percussion and basslines … When My Time Comes much?) feels big and near cinematic. Its a powerful sound, and barely harnesses Casnoff’s staunch anthemic vocals.
It’s exciting news for fans of Casnoff’s and I look forward to the end of the month to give this a listen.
Harriet is Alex Casnoff, Aaron Folb (bass), Henry Kwapis (drums), and Adam Gunther (guitar). Tell The Right Story was produced by Sean O’Brien and recorded in Los Angeles and Sacramento.
