A couple years back, Dinosaur Feathers‘ debut album Fantasy Memorial, had really interested me. It was a shockingly fun album & its 50?s / 60?s styled pop music was a blast to listen to and they proved to be fantastic at creating multi-layered melodic pop music that was fun to listen to. Fast forward to today, they are releasing a single off the follow-up Whistle Tips, which is due out April 10th. “Beatcha”, is the second track off the album, and one I’ve instantly warmed up to. It feels like a continuation of what was great on Fantasy Memorial, its hook-laden warm music that definitely brightens the day.
