Written as a murder ballad, and played solo, the sound is authentically folk sounding, and begs desperately to be played on your back porch, as the sun goes down, sipping whiskey. Brick + Mortar – Bangs A little while back, I posted about New Jersey’s Brick + Mortar and their song Heatstroke, an anthemic quick witted track that was completely irresistible. They’ve released a second track, titled Bangs, which is darker, fuzzier, and bass heavy. Looking forward to a full album from this talented band, with a very cool sound.
