Stars – The Theory of Relativity
[C]anadian indie – poppers, Stars have announced their new album, The North, which will be released September 4 on ATO Records. The North, was recorded in Montreal’s historic RCA Victor Studios and was produced by Stars, Graham Lessard and Marcus Paquin (Arcade Fire). The first cut is the celestial (pun intended) “The Theory of Relativity,” a super synthy shimmering pop track that feels fuller and of wider breadth than anything we heard on The Five Ghosts. The production really opened up their sound and filled some of what seemed a shade flat on their last record. This has me excited to hear if it can match Set Yourself on Fire.
