Swedish born singer / songwriter Victoria Bergsman and her project Taken By Trees is releasing an album titled Other Worlds out in October on Secretly Canadian and they are offering up their first single from the album. It would be absurd to not expect a song titled “Dreams,” to not have a dream-like feel, so I won’t wax poetic on the feel of this song, but the downtempo number is extremely relaxing and features a heart beat like bass line, and Bergsman’s voice resonates throughout the song as the almost watered down calypso style rings through with guitars and synths.
“Dreams” will be available to preorder as a 12″ single here. Other Worlds will be out Oct. 2 on Secretly Canadian.
