Will Johnson – You Will Be Here, Mine
[O]ver the years I’ve been listening to Will Johnson’s bands in the form of Centro-Matic and South San Gabriel and his voice has always stood out to me. It is innately contemplative, rough, raspy, yet calming vocals that are front and center on this slow waltz of a song. It’s powerful stuff, and very exciting to hear more music from this guy who seems to be one of the most prolific artists out there.
“You Will Be Here, Mine” will appear on his upcoming self-released record Scorpion, out September 11th.
