New Music | Ben Gibbard – Teardrop Windows
by Kyle Mitchell, the editor and founder of Music Savage, lover of music, hater of remixes.

Deathcab for Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard has released the first single off his upcoming debut solo album Former Lives, which releases on 10/16. The single in question is “Teardrop Windows,” which feels like a ray of sunshine over the sometimes morose DCFC material, or at the very least DCFC in a good mood. It’s a powerpop track which is reportedly inspired by Seattle’s Smith Tower.
