[Q]uiet and reserved sounds from this track from Montreal based Carter Behnke, recorded in friend, Taylor Cooney’s basement, the tenderly strummed track “Lighthouse,” transports the listener to a place a lot further away from where they are. Subtle vocal tracks give it an ethereal sort of feel, and Behnke’s voice shines in this slow jam that shows real promise from this new artist.
