The Technicolors – Sweet Time

[P]hoenix, AZ rockers The Technicolors are gearing up for a second leg of their National tour and will be making it here to Boston June 17th and we are happy to co-present the show. We reviewed their most recent record the Listener, and couldn’t be more excited about getting them here in Boston. This band has that Brit Rock sound that puts them into the Oasis / Supergrass lovechild kind of sound, added with some 60’s/70’s guitar laden sounds that create an eclectic range that has been hailed by the LA Examiner  “The Technicolors are a new, musically sophisticated young band with oodles of talent. Their original songs have a wonderful eclectic 60s vibe. Listener weaves ambient electric guitar beds with searing solos punctuated with Smiley’s earnest vocals reminiscent of Oasis and Wolfmother.”

This is a band that’s coming into their own by paying homage to the past and defining their future. We hope to see you 6/17 at the Middle East Upstairs as the Technicolors play with Portland ME’s Endless Jags, Brooklyn’s Vassals, & locals Kangaroo Court.
