New Music | The Shackeltons – Call Call

shackeltons

[P]rodigius Pennsylvanian post-punk rockers The Shackeltons have just released the first single, “Call Call,” from their forthcoming album Records (due out early next year on Think Loud Entertainment) and it must be listened to loudly. Believe me, whatever funk you may be in “Call Call” will help you shake it off, get out of that chair, and pogo around the room like the music savage you are! It’s been quite a few years, five to be exact, since The Shackeltons last full-length album and if this song is any indication of what the rest of Records sounds like then 2o14 can’t come fast enough. The track is filled to the brim with high-energy guitar, thumping bass, foot-stomping drums, enough sax to make David Jackson (Jaxson) happy, all tied together beautifully with Mark Redding’s spastic, preacher-man style vocals.

Check out “Call Call” above and be sure to follow their progress on the new album Records on Facebook and Twitter.
