[M]anchester’s The 1975 get bigger with every song/video we here at Music Savage post for your Anglophile listening pleasure. Now I am not saying we have had a hand in their growing popularity here in the States, but we have been fans for a while. The guys have just released the video for their new single, “Girls,” from their self-titled debut album, which came out here in the US last month. The song is bold look at sex and relationships and all the complications that come from engaging in both, and the video ties it together with a shimmery, tongue-in-cheek play on the old-school, 80’s-pop style of early MTV.
