[T]he six-piece San Francisco band Taxes released a super new single last week titled “Lost at Sea,” and I simply cannot stop listening to it. The track is from their upcoming full-length album to be released by Breakup Records this May, and it contains some of the catchiest pop punk hooks this side of the Golden Gate Bridge. Singer/songwriter Robby Cronholm and bandmates Laura Dean (vocals/keyboards), Brad Harbidge (drums), Josh White (guitar), Jonathan Kepke (bass) and Amir Djavaherian (bass), create a perfectly uplifting ballad about a relationship metaphorically being smashed against the ocean waves while the world comes apart Book of Revelation 9:3 style. You should turn this one up nice and loud!
