New Music | Filligar – Motor Shine

[C]hicago’s Filligar is prepping a brand new single that I’m pretty excited about, “Motor Shine,” a fresh sound for a band that might need a break, they’ve been touring relentlessly for the last 8 years, and specifically the last few after gaining big press from all over with their 2010 effort The Nerve, and their ’13 effort Hexagon, both big favorites to my ears.

With “Motor Shine,” you can hear it all over the cool melodies, and laid back feel that “all came directly or indirectly from spending time on the beach,” Gibson said of the new song. It’s a breath of fresh air, from a band that might just need it, although they probably wont take the time to smell the roses.
