Show Preview | Matt Pond PA @ The Sinclair – Tuesday, April 7th

1355730963MATTPOND_2

It’s been a decade since New York/Pennsylvanian troubadour Matt Pond (along with his fellow Quaker State musicians that make up the PA in Matt Pond PA) released one of the quintessential indie-rock albums of the time, Several Arrows Later, and now several years on it’s time to celebrate that release with a much anticipated anniversary tour.

Sure the line-up that has been Matt Pond PA has changed throughout the many tours, and many albums, since the 2005 LP, but it’s a sure bet that the current roster knows how to conjure up the swirling tempos while navigating around the sentimental speed-bumps laid down by the  affable frontman.

The boys in the band are putting the finishing touches on the new album, The State of Gold, which will be released later this year and we hear word that they will also be previewing some of the new tunes after they finish re-breaking your heart with a full performance of Several Arrows Later.

So there you have it folks! What more do you need? Get yourselves down to the Sinclair in Harvard Square tomorrow night and put aside the fact that you are now ten years older for a few hours. Good music and good times never grow old.

  1. Hi, Kyle
We are three piece indie/alternative rock band called The Walk Off out of Boston, Massachusetts. On Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 we released our debut EP entitled “A Likely Story.” We are doing everything we can to get as many people to hear it as possible, and were wondering if you might be interested in writing a blog post about our band and the EP on Heartbreaking Bravery.

You can stream/download the EP for free here:
