This song is exactly what you need when you are deep in the throws of a gray November day in Boston. The head-bobbing nature of “Down the Line,” intermixed with the near sun soaked (to an almost silly level) visuals on the video scream California, I mean there is no escaping it here, and frankly today I don’t care to. It screams everything we aren’t allowed to have here int he northeast. It’s carefree, gentle-spirited music that is putting a smile on my face. Look for “Down the Line,” on the The Donkeys upcoming mini-album, Midnight Palms, February 12th.
