The latest WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is focused once again on Gothenburg, Sweden. This time it is aimed on the beautiful new single, “Gold,” from Frida Sundemo. It’s the fourth track released from the Swedish musician’s highly anticipated international debut album, Flashbacks & Futures, due out October 6th via Cosmos Music.
Sundemo released her debut full-length album titled, Dear, Let It Out, exclusively in Japan back in 2010 and went on to collaborate with acclaimed songwriter/producer Joel Humlén for her two follow-up EPs. In 2015 she made her acting debut in the dark British comedy, Kill Your Friends, and contributed the marvelously synth-tastic song, “Heroes,” to the film’s soundtrack.
Having just signed to Scandinavia’s Cosmos Music for her upcoming release the future is looking very bright for this hard-working and extremely talented artist. The rest of the music loving world is about to find out why Frida Sundemo is already is shining star in the music galaxy.
