This week’s WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is focused on the stunning single, “Staring Out The Window,” from Austin-based musician Erika Wennerstrom. This is the second SOTW feature for the talented musician and for good reason! The track is off her incredible debut solo album, Sweet Unknown, which is out now on Partisan Records and just so happens to be one of the best releases on the year.
This past weekend she performed songs from the album at the Newport Folk Festival and had those lucky enough to have gained entry to the festival’s Museum Stage (believe me when I tell you it is difficult to get a spot) totally enraptured by her extraordinary voice.
