This week’s WFMO X Music Savage Show “Song of the Week” spotlight is once again focused on the wonderful city of Stockholm and shines down brightly on the fantastic new single, “I Just Wanna Talk,” from Swedish band Oxen. The duo have released a few terrific singles in 2018 and the music world has already started to pay attention.
Oxen are Erik Hases and Stefan Söderqvist and together the musicians open up a can of old school rock n’ roll swagger on, “I Just Wanna Talk,” that feels like it would fit in being played loudly in your favorite dive bar’s jukebox at the exact moment THE girl walks in the door and all eyes turn in her direction. You know that perfect scene has played in your head a million times… and now you have the perfect song to accompany the imagery.
Their debut album, Postpone & Forget, will be out before November is over and you can bet you’ll be hearing it on The Music Savage Show for quite a while.
