New Music | Luther Russell – The Invisible Audience

Luther Russell – Aint Frightening Me Luther Russell released his fifth LP, a double-length entitled The Invisible Audience, on July 12th on Ungawa Records.  He says the double album is  “a glimpse into the jukebox of my psyche.”  Check out the first cut from the album (which is streaming on AOL Spinner)  ‘Ain’t Frightening Me,’ a timeless sounding mish mash written track, that’s a bit Beatlesesque(hate using that term but I hear it in this song) and one that I find myself continually replaying again and again.  Check out the album streaming now, enjoy this track and if your a fan,…

New Music | Young Buffalo – Young Von Prettylips EP

Young Buffalo – Only We Can Keep You From Harm

Its time to remember the name Young Buffalo.  The Mississippi band is going to turn some heads with the brash music that’s exuberant, carefree, and at times quite frickin beautiful. These guys shimmer in some fantastic harmonies, pounding drums, and some experimental noise-pop craziness.  People are going to fall in love with their upcoming EP Young Von Prettylips.  I’ve had the chance to listen to it about 50 times in the last few days and I can’t shut it off.  This is definitely a must listen.  Make sure to grab it next week (july 19) when it releases

Check out their first released cut ‘Only We Can Keep You From Harm’ and Boston, get ready to see these guys open for Tennis and the Vaccines, a show that you are not going to want to miss!

Give them your email, and it’s all yours.
