New Music | Vandervelde – More Than You Can Feel

More Than You Can Feel

Dropping his first name for his upcoming single, David Vandervelde still sounds pretty damn awesome in his new track ‘More Than You Can Feel,’ a Neil Youngian like slow burner of a track that still contains that T-Rex influenced glam rock guitar that’s kind of fantastical. Check it out and consider buying his upcoming single in May (the 3rd) and checking out his spring tour.

New Music | Baby Baby – Breakin’

Baby Baby – Breakin’ by gospelofrhythm Baby Baby have given us all a new song from their new album, Money, which about to be the craziest fun song I’ve heard this week.  Baby Baby’s Breakin’ is a wild romp of crunchy guitars, hollerin, and ethanol fueled energy. It’s noise rock that almost makes you sweat in your seat, its got this primal energy that is highly engaging and totally fun to listen to. Connect with Baby Baby: Facebook | Twitter

Release | The Bynars – Self Title

The Bynars – Asking Your Mom for Money
The Bynars – How Does it Feel to Be In Love

Synth pop rockers The Bynars write some of the catchiest songs you’ll ever hear, the hook laden songs that are included on their just released self titled debut album will make  your ears dance.  Today, they realize their dream, release their debut and tell the world to get ready.

Over the last few months they have been releasing singles the valentine’s day release of ‘How Does it Feel to Be In Love,’ and march’s ‘Asking Your Mom For Money,’ two really tasty deliriously fun tracks.  These and the 10 other songs on the album are a joy to listen to; totally bright and fun.  This album has a certain personality that is just so damn likable, a sense of humor that is approachable and lyrics that are irrefutably perfect for their sound.  Even on the slow churned ‘Every Little Thing You Love’ the band shows this pop sensibility that is perfect for a sunny day or to just brighten the mood.  I can’t say enough great things about it, I’ve just had so much fun listening I feel its my duty to explain this in as many exclamations as possible (without actually using the punctuation).

For fans of the ‘nerd synth pop rock’ genre this album is 30 minutes long but will spend a considerable amount of time on your player of choice. Replaying again and again, singing the songs in the shower, and chair dancing to these songs is a certainty.  Have a good time and check it out.

BUY THE ALBUM. Now.  Seriously.

New Music | Butcher the Bar – Bobby

Butcher The Bar – Bobby Manchester-based artist Butcher The Bar (aka Joel Nicholson) just announced his first new material in three years in the form of sophomore LP, For Each A Future Tethered, set for release via Morr Music on June 21. Echoing the earnest songwriting of and vocal stylings of Nick Drake and Elliot Smith Butcher The Bar’s ‘Bobby‘ is a warm sounding indie folk song with that quiet whisper vocal that creates a sort of intimacy that is totally entrancing. Dawes announces new record, releases single If I Wanted Someone

Dawes – If I Wanted Someone

So happy to hear and let everyone know that Dawes will be releasing their new album June 7th. The album, entitled Nothing is Wrong will be the follow up to their fantastic North Hills album which was out 2 years ago. They released this song ‘If I Wanted Someone’ which if you’ve been to any of their shows over the past 8 months or so you’ve probably heard it. It features gorgeous gang chorus’ a very ‘petty’ guitar riff, a wandering Goldsmith guitar solo and per usual some really great songwriting.

One of my absolute favorite bands out there, they are just so fantastic and I’m near jumping out of my seat at hearing the first recording of this track.

Grab a copy for yourself:

You need to see this band live. Period. And they are making it easy…
