New Music | Brass Bed – Miniature Day Parade

Miniature Day Parade Just hearing this track, I’m late to the party, err the Parade. It might be old to you (out sept ’10) but its new to me.  Either way… this is a breath of fresh air on a gray day.  This song has all the bounciness you’ll ever need, big ol choruses and just the right amount of twang infused pop music for a perfect boost in my day. The song comes from their album ‘Melt White’ out on Park the Van Records (which is becoming one of my favorite labels these days). Buy Melt White

Cults – You Know What I Mean by cultscultscults

New track from Cults. ‘You Know What I Mean’ will appear on their self-titled debut out 5/30. “You Know What I Mean,”  has Cults’ signature 50’s nostalgia pop sound, and Madeline Follin’s voice shines on this gem.

Cults will be on tour for the next few months, I suggest you check them out in your neck of the woods:

New Music | Timber Timbre – Creep On Creepin’ On

Creep On Creepin On

This may be one of the most strange sounding songs I’ve heard in a while.  Its got an eery doo wop sound, and some of the strangest lyrics I’ve heard in a while.  Saying all that, its a very fantastic track to listen to.  Its an ambling reverb drenched bizarre song that is a treat to listen to.  This is the second track from the upcoming album under the same title, Creep On Creepin On (awesome title) which is out 4/5/11.

PRE-ORDER Creep On Creepin’ On is available in North America April 5 on Arts & Crafts.

New Music | Southeast Engine – Adeline of the Appalachian Mtns

Adeline Of The Applachian Mountains Magnet Magazine recently released free for download another track from Southeast Engine’s upcoming album, Canary (out 3/29). I’ve had the opportunity for the last few weeks to preview the album, its one fantastic epic folk album regaling the story of an Appalachian family at the turn of the 20th century. It’s epic, wonderful sounding, and a great story to hear. http://www.southeastengine.com/

Anvil Everything I posted a new White Denim track earlier this week and found another one available from their upcoming album ‘D.’  White Denim will release a new album on May 24th.  It’s an experimental psych/rock track with some pretty cool explorative guitar riffs. Web | Facebook | Myspace
