The single “Ray Charles,” isn’t actually about the the legend, but rather an incident involving Chiddy’s brother falling asleep in the recording studio with his sunglasses on. Regardless of the story, the song has one of those hooks that will pull you in instantaneously. There’s very few hip hop acts that I can’t get enough of, but Chiddy is definitely one of them. I’m looking forward to checking out the rest of this album.

The Subterranean Homesick Blues-like video with literal lyrics with a bit of a twist as they’ve incorporated the psychedelic visual style.
