Video | The Longwalls – Ghosts

The Longwalls have released a stop motion video for their track, Ghosts off their ‘Dark Academy EP‘.  It’s a folky, americana styled track, but has great a pop flavor / sensibility.  The Longwalls have also recently released a new LP on Staticmotor Recordings titled, Careers in Science. Video | The Head and the Heart – Lost in My Mind

Had I started to listen to the Head and the Heart’s self title album sooner than the end of december, it would have gone on to be one of my top 5 albums of 2010 (not sure where…but its awesome).  Here’s the video for one of the amazing tracks on the album Lost in My Mind. I urge you, if you like this to go out and  buy their album now, you will not regret it.

Video | The Thermals – Not Like Any Other Feeling

The Thermals – “Not Like Any Other Feeling” from stereogum on Vimeo. The Thermals just released a video for song ‘Not Like Any Other Feeling,’ a charming, chalk drawn mixed media stop motion video covering a Space Station, a Rocket Ship, and some really fun stop motion visuals.  This playful sense in the video is really fun to watch,  and sort of fitting for the music and style of the Thermals. Noah & the Whale – LIFEGOESON Live @ RAK Studios

L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. (Live from RAK Studios) from charlie fink on Vimeo. Noah & the Whale’s LIFEGOESON has been one of my favorite tracks of 2011 and I couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming album.  This live recording is hands down better than the recorded version.  It’s absolutely gorgeous, and this song is a complete gem. via the incomparable (twentyfourbit)
