The sophomore album, was recorded with help from Chris McLaughlin (Aberdeen City, Mean Creek, Township). With influences like Wilco, Bon Iver and Low Anthem in their minds they’ve created an album that merges those influences with their own style. The country twanged slow churning track and if I’m reading it right, its about the leaving the writer’s leaving regret for leaving home. Dropping his first name for his upcoming single, David Vandervelde still sounds pretty damn awesome in his new track ‘More Than You Can Feel,’ a Neil Youngian like slow burner of a track that still contains that T-Rex influenced glam rock guitar that’s kind of fantastical. Baby Baby’s Breakin’ is a wild romp of crunchy guitars, hollerin, and ethanol fueled energy.
