Cover Song | Ray Lamontagne – Crazy (Gnarls Barkley)

Crazy If you spent any time in 2006 you probably heard Gnarls Barkley’s Crazy.  A song that was everywhere you looked.  Fast forward to this cover, soulful crooner Ray LaMontagne covers Crazy, makes it his own, and its totally fantastic.  Can’t help but love this version of it.

Cover Song | Mumford & Sons – Golden Slumbers

Golden Slumbers / Carry That Weight Catch Mumford & Sons cover of Beatles’ Golden Slumbers.  It seems as though these guys can do no wrong right now.  Everything they touch turns to gold.  It’s not easy to cover a Beatles classic as such, but I think they do a pretty good job of it.

New Music – Alexander – Truth

Truth Brand new track from frontman Alexander Ebert (Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros / IMA Robot) entitled Truth.  I’m not sure whether it will be attached to a solo project or not, but it’s definitely a cool track, and worth listening to if you enjoy the Edward Sharpe stuff.

New Video | Best Coast – Boyfriend

Best Coast’s album, Crazy for You, was a summer gem, and they’ve finally kicked out a video for single, Boyfriend. The video follows a young teenager on her 15th birthday dreaming about a boy.  It’s all pretty basic, no wild concept, but it’s nice to hear the song refreshed again.  I really enjoyed Crazy For You, had a lot of fun listening to it, and it was perfect for lazy summer days. As for the fall that is upon us, you should considering checking out the album, get in a few listens on lazy rides in the car. Check out…
