The venue for recording is really unique, stepping out on to a flat roof up in the trees, overlooking the city was really captivating. But the magic truly happens when this band starts playing. These United States tackle that americana folk style that drips with pedal steel strings and great vocals. I think the stand out track on the album is Will it Ever, it features Jesse Elliot’s succinct lyrics, sweeping pedal steel sounds that will drag you around the room, and some real great energy moments that are near anthemic.
