Press Play Our final month of the year has officially been closed. This has been a fantastic music year, and I’ve been having a lot of fun putting together these monthly mixes again. It’s great to chronicle a year based on what you’ve been listening to, and we’re so lucky these days to have enough new music each month to put together these. I hope you enjoy some new tunes over your holiday break, and please let me know what I might have missed this month.

It digs its way deep into your ears and will have you reaching for more. It’s a great funky, soulful indie-pop kind of sound that isn’t too far of a stretch for Belle & Sebastian at all. Look for “The Party Line,” to land on B&S’ new record, Girls In Peacetime Want to Dance will be released on January 20th, 2015 via Matador.
It’s near impossible to pick one top album with the massive amount of music I listened to this year but I thought I’d try to at least give you an idea of what you should grab this year before we start anew. 20 thru 16; 15 thru 11; 10 thru 6 5.
