New Music | Fruit Bats – Tangie and Ray

Fruit Bats – Tangie And Ray Ten years into a musical career spanning 4 albums, Eric D. Johnson the man behind Fruit Bats, will release his 5th album Tripper.  The album, named after a chance encounter on a train with a cantankerous vagabond, is a fictional work about Johnson and the “Tripper’s” roadtrip across America.  The first released cut from the album is Tangie and Ray, a travelogue about two people riding in the back of a truck and their travels leaving home and going back to the wild.  Its Johnson’s style all over it, a warm 60’s/70’s classic folk…
