Empire (Freelance Whales Remix) Philadelphia’s piano based rock trio Jukebox the Ghost is prepping their new album Everything Under the Sun, due out September 7. Their released single, Empire, has been remixed by Freelance Whales, and it’s a really interesting sound. 1 CommentBone Dry Good news from the California coast. San Franciscan (by way of Wisconsin) band AB & the Sea writes wonderfully feel good pop songs. After saying good bye to the midwest, they packed their van, headed for the west coast and made their way to San Francisco. Busking downtown for rent money, they were discovered by a promoter, and they began opening for bands like Marcy’s Playground, The Morning Benders, The Fruit Bats, The Submarines, The Miniature Tigers, and even Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. 1 CommentI Love You Always Forever I saw Jukebox the Ghost a few months ago, and they had played this cover. The only thing I could do was tell people that it happened.
