[M]anchester Orchestra released a second single from their upcoming record, Cope, with the straight-forward guitar driven tune “Every Stone,” a bright, airy, roll down the windows kind of rock track that will have you singing along with Andy Hull by the first refrain. Look for Cope, due out April 1, 2014.
Manchester Orchestra – Top Notch [O]ne band that seems to always disappear for years on end, and then make an ungodly return with a killer record, and a live show that will totally blow you away is Atlanta’s Manchester Orchestra. Just when I think I forgot about them, they come back seemingly out of nowhere and release music I can’t stop listening to. Enter “Top Notch,” the newest single off their upcoming record Cope out April 1st. “Top Notch,” is teeming with intensity, the guitars are huge, the song has mega scale, and I really want to turn this up…
[T]his is a righteous collaboration, Frightened Rabbit & Manchester Orchestra teamed up on 1/2 of a 12″ single for Record Store Day with this tune titled “Architect.” It’s a tenderly plucked confessional that begs for more collaboration between these two awesome bands. [A]nd on the other side of the special 12″ is “Make It To Me,” a collaboration between between Manchester Orchestra & Grouplove. It’s a rock tune with Grouplove’s electronic grooves, it really does feel like a smooth amalgamation of the two bands’ sounds. Look for this single at your local record store, April 20th. http://www.recordstoreday.com/
