The month of February is over and we’re well on our way into 2018 now and as the temperatures warm up the new music is flowing. New stuff from Eels, to Chromeo, CHVRCHES, Caroline Rose, Courtney Barnett, Field Report and so much more. I’m so so stoked on this mixtape and I hope you like it as much as I do. As always, let us know what we’ve missed (if anything), and please do enjoy.

Another great month of music, almost too much of it, to keep the format of 40 songs from the month I ended up pulling a few favorites. But there are some great songs in here, and I know I will continue to come back to this mixtape as the year goes along. I’ve had a ton of fun putting this together, and hope you enjoy.
[O]n September 4th, Sondre Lerche will be releasing vinyl reissues of his first four albums, Faces Down, Two Way Monologue, Duper Sessions and Phantom Punch – that include bonus tracks and outtakes, and Bootlegs, hislive record. Speaking of bonus tracks, take a listen to “Boxing Day,” off my favorite of his albums, 2007’s Phantom Punch, a song that Lerche felt didn’t meld with the rest of the album
“For some reason it never found its way onto any of the albums. This version was recorded for the Phantom Punch album in LA in 2007 but I didn’t feel it fit the album and once again left it out in the cold.”
Which is a rather shame, because now that I’m hearing it, I’m loving it.
Sondre Lerche – Private Caller by sondrelerche Sondre Lerche has released a new track from his self-titled album out on June 7th. This is the second single we’ve heard off this upcoming album, the first being domino. Its exciting, catchy acoustic pop and we can expect some more fantastic music come June.
Sondre Lerche – “Domino” by Yep Roc Music Group I got my first taste of on his album, Phantom Punch. His song ‘John, Let Me Go,’ is one of my favorites. Sondre Lerche has released a new track from his self-titled album out on June 7th called ‘Domino.’ Lerche has always reminded me of a smoother, Donovan; and this track brings that to mind. I’m very much looking forward to hearing his new album, and hopefully a east coast tour.
