I’m not sure how these guys slipped through the cracks with this album but Everything Touches Everything is one superb album. These United States tackle that americana folk style that drips with pedal steel strings and great vocals.
I think the stand out track on the album is Will it Ever, it features Jesse Elliot’s succinct lyrics, sweeping pedal steel sounds that will drag you around the room, and some real great energy moments that are near anthemic. His vocals touch the range of high notes but stay within a nice range that really completes the barebones music; you’ll find yourself asking the question… ‘Will it Ever be This Good Again?’
Its such a total bummer that I missed these guys, and now that they are on my radar, I will not make the same mistake twice. Check out the band, buy some music, sit back and enjoy.
