Boston based folk band David Wax Musem craft Latin / Americana / Folk music by fusing Mexican roots with country, folk, and rock. With an assortment of lesser known instruments (Whats a quijada anyway?) they perform some amazing sounding music. Gaining momentum after their show at the Newport Folk Festival over the summer, they have recorded a new album and I await the final release here in Boston in February.
Their upcoming album, Everything is Saved, which will be released February 3rd, contains the single, Born With A Broken Heart, with a latin rhythm, and a catchy set of lyrics this song is sure to win you over more and more with each listen.
The band is going on tour to back this upcoming release over the next two months… here’s the schedule should they be anywhere near you.
