This Secret Sisters’ Cover of Johnny Cash’s Big River might just be one of the most rollicking and wild covers I’ve heard in a long while. Big ups to Jack White’s bluesy riffs and frenetic soloing. This is such a good time, you have to listen to it. More than once.
Not sure about it, I guess it’s an alright cover. I like the bridge. Anyway, good on them for trying something different with the arrangement. I have a playlist on my youtube channel of Cash playing this live through the years, and he never did much with it except rip it up a bit on the earliest versions…
