David Vandervelde hits the stage tonight here in Boston, and it promises to be a great night of music. If you’ve been following Vandervelde at all, which you should, he’s put out two fantastic albums, The Moonstation House Band and Waiting for the Sunrise, as well as an EP (Summer Hits). I’ve been looking forward to getting to see him perform his music for a long while now, and he finally makes his way to Boston tonight.
His music is highly influenced in T-Rex (Marc Bolan) and his Neil Youngian like slow burner of a single that release a few weeks back (More than you can feel) is one damn fantastic track.
