New Music | The Rosebuds – Woods

The Rosebuds – Woods Check out the tasty new Rosebuds track ‘Woods’ a song from their upcoming album, Loud Planes Fly Low, out June 7th on Merge Records. The Rosebuds will be touring for much of the summer, including a series of opening gigs for Bon Iver. The Bynars CD Release Tonight at Great Scott

How Does it Feel to Be In Love Asking Your Mom for Money Tonight, my favorite synth pop band in the whole world is releasing the debut self titled LP. The Bynars release their album tonight at Great Scott with friends Bearstronaut, Sincerely The Management, and Every Other Country. These guys have mastered catchy, hook driven pop songs that will make you shake your ass, dance your face off and just generally have an awesome time.  This album is so damn likable, its approachable and is perfect for a sunny day or to just brighten the rain that will be out…

Other Lives – For 12

Paste got the honors to share Other Lives newest single ‘Tamer Animals’ (to go along with For 12) the title track on their upcoming (May 10) album which is highly anticipated and from how many times I’ve listened to it over the last few days… well worth the anticipation. Its a gorgeous, lush album that music lovers are really going to enjoy.

Rocky Votolato and Matt Pond cover Human League

Rocky Votolato and Matt Pond PA cover The Human League The AV Club is running through their series Undercover where bands cover some really popular songs of yesteryear. In this video, Rocky & Matt cover the male/female duet ‘Don’t You Want Me’ from the Human League. Its one of my favorite 80’s tracks, and well this is an interesting interpretation for sure.

Video | The Cave Singers – Black Leaf

Check out the adventure video which is seemingly ‘Where the Wild things Are’ without wild things… a group of adventurous kids go on a treasure quest ending up in a monster’s lair… so I guess there are wild things. Check out the video, the great song, an album review and tour dates.
