The hotbed of talent here in Boston is sometimes staggering, and the Wandas are definitely in thick of it. Boston quartet The Wandas announced the release of their new self-titled album, out August 30th. The Wandas recorded at MixArt Studios [The Stills, Arcade Fire] in Montreal, Canada to work with long-time fan and producer Patrick Krief [guitarist and co-writer of The Dears.]
They have decided to release track ‘Forever and Ever‘ a warm and retro sounding post-rock track with a sonically tight bassline, sweeping guitars, reverb tinged vocals and some angelic sounding three part harmonies.
As usual, The Wandas plan on spending all of 2011 on the road. Stay tuned for more details.
