Justin Townes Earle – Harlem River Blues
There are only a few concerts left of 2011, but tonight’s Justin Townes Earle show at the Royale is bound to be one of the best. His most recent, 2010’s Harlem River
Blues was one of the best releases of last year, and sounds great live (Newport Folk anyone?) Justin Townes Earle is simply one of the best songwriters out there today. He’s got a great americana sound complete with gospel, soul, bluegrass and country influences.
Earle just recently finished his fifth studio album, Nothing’s Gonna Change the Way You Feel About Me Now, which is rumored for a spring 2012 release. It should be a great night of favorite and new Justin Townes Earle tunes.
