[N]ew York City’s Slam Donahue is a pop trio who has been able to weave some pretty fantastic melodies into their songs, and “I Turn On,” is no different. The song shimmers with synth ornamentals laid over an uptempo beat. It’s a surefire summer jam, super catchy, fun and will be on their forthcoming Hemlock Tea EP, produced by Ayad Al Adhamy (Passion Pit, Team Spirit), which is out 8/21.
